www.WetNoodlePosse.com - Wet Noodle Posse (WNP) I’m proud to be a member of the Wet Noodle Posse, the Golden Heart class of 2003. On the day the finalists were announced we formed an email loop and somehow, between the excitement of preparing for the RWA conference in New York City, the decisions we had to make about the editors and agents we wanted to meet, the dresses we wanted to wear, the success or failure of our diets...we became friends...fast friends. And we remain so to this day. In the summer of 2004 the published WNP'ers and a few of the soon-to-be-published decided to launch an e-zine that was designed for women. Not necessarily romance-reading women, but all women who might need a respite from their busy day to, as the site’s theme encourages, “Take case of yourself, or else.”
A complete history of the WNP appears on Stephanie Feagan’s website, and it’s a hoot! Check it out by clicking here.

www.crfwa.org - Central Florida Romance Writers (CFRW) CFRW is my home chapter of RWA. Most of the members live in and around Orlando, Florida. The members of CFRW are some of the most generous, intelligent women I’ve ever met. CFRW is also the home of the Touch of Magic Contest, held every summer.

If my years in the library business have taught me anything, it’s that to stop learning is to stop living. Computers and iPods and MP3’s will never replace the feel of a book in your hands or the smell of printer’s ink. But, hey, I’m flexible. If anyone ever figures out how to snuggle up in a comfy reading chair holding a personal computer, please let me know!
